Advantages
The vibrating blanket concentrator—commonly known as a sluice blanket concentrator or tailings blanket recovery machine—is suitable for processing a wide range of materials, including rare metal minerals (tungsten, tin, gold, copper, lead, zinc, chromium, titanium, zirconium), rare earths, rutile, monazite, tantalum, niobium, garnet, quartz, and kaolin, as well as molten salt slag, pyrometallurgical slag, and hydrometallurgical slag.
This machine represents a new type of gravity separation equipment. Compared to traditional gravity separation devices (such as shaking tables, spiral chutes, and jigs), it offers advantages such as high enrichment ratios, superior separation efficiency, excellent process control, and ease of adjustment.
The vibrating blanket concentrator is a unique piece of mineral processing equipment. It features a compact footprint yet provides a large active processing area, resulting in high throughput and recovery rates; it effectively lowers costs, boosts profits, and conserves resources.
The machine is highly effective at separating ultra-fine particles. It can process slurries containing particles ranging from 100 to 800 mesh, achieving a single-pass recovery rate of approximately 80%. With its high processing capacity and enrichment efficiency, it successfully addresses the challenge of separating fine particles.
[Structure] The machine consists of a vibrator, a blanket, a support frame, and an adjustment mechanism. The vibrator, which generates periodic vibrations, serves as the core component, enabling the entire unit to vibrate at set frequencies and amplitudes. The blanket carries the minerals to be separated, utilizing vibration to segregate minerals based on density differences. The support frame holds the structure together, ensuring stability and safety. The adjustment mechanism allows for the modification of vibration amplitude and frequency to meet specific separation requirements. [Working Principle] Based on the principle of a traditional belt conveyor, a layer of gold-trapping cloth is added. This cloth rotates continuously, effectively refreshing the trapping surface every second over a 24-hour cycle. As the section of the cloth containing trapped gold particles rotates to the bottom, it is struck by a back-flow water stream, causing the gold particles to dislodge and fall into a collection bowl. This machine is suitable for recovering various metal ores, and is particularly effective for recovering ores from surface runoff.
