【Processing Capacity】0.5–180 tons/hour
【Feed Size】0–3 mm
【Applications】Suitable for materials with particle sizes under 3 mm, such as magnetite, pyrrhotite, roasted ore, and ilmenite. Wet drum magnetic separators can also be used for iron removal in coal, non-metallic minerals, and construction materials.
Advantages
【What is a magnetic separator?】
The wet drum magnetic separator is a common piece of equipment for processing iron ore and manganese ore, and it serves as a mainstream device for high-intensity magnetic separation.
【Magnetic Separation Applications】Wet drum magnetic separation is suitable for processing materials with particle sizes of 3 mm or less, such as magnetite, pyrrhotite, roasted ore, and ilmenite. It is also used for iron removal in coal, non-metallic minerals, and construction materials.
1. Simple structure
2. High processing capacity

4. Convenient maintenance.
A professional manufacturer in the equipment industry.
Types of magnetic separators: Dry drum magnetic separators, wet magnetic separators, roll-type electrostatic magnetic separators, ARC-type electrostatic magnetic separators, three-disc dry magnetic separators, high-intensity magnetic separators, and laboratory magnetic separators.
【Working Principle】During processing, non-magnetic minerals fall away as the separator drum rotates continuously, while minerals adhering to the drum surface represent the concentrate. Due to the magnetic force acting on the drum, these concentrate particles gradually move toward the zone of weakest magnetic force as the drum rotates; they are then washed into the concentrate tank by a discharge water flow, while the remaining processed minerals are discharged from the other side of the drum. These discarded minerals are known as tailings. Depending on user requirements, the separator offers various flow configurations—such as concurrent, semi-counter-current, and counter-current—to suit different magnetic field intensity needs. This magnetic separator offers advantages such as a simple structure, high processing capacity, ease of operation, and convenient maintenance.
