spiral chute

Spiral Chute
【Processing Capacity】: 0.15–10 tons/hour

【Feed Size】: 0.04–2 mm

【Applications】: Iron, tin, tungsten, tantalum-niobium, gold, coal, monazite, rutile, zircon, and other metals.

Advantages
The spiral chute is an optimal piece of equipment for mining and mineral processing, combining the characteristics of spiral concentrators, shaking tables, and centrifugal concentrators. It features a fiberglass body lined with wear-resistant polyurethane and a corundum-reinforced shell, offering advantages such as moisture and rust resistance.
The spiral separator offers a small footprint, low water consumption, simple structure, zero energy consumption, high processing capacity, easy installation and operation, and low investment costs.

We supply a wide range of gravity separation equipment, such as gold centrifugal concentrators, shaking tables, and wet spiral concentrators (please refer to our mining equipment list). Spiral separators are suitable for heavy-medium separation across various extraction processes. We also provide spiral chute design services. Please email us for pricing information.
The spiral separator (or spiral chute) is a classic piece of mining machinery. It is used to process fine-grained ores (particle size 0.3–0.02 mm)—including metals like iron, tin, tungsten, tantalum-niobium, gold, coal, monazite, rutile, and zircon, as well as non-metallic minerals with significant specific gravity differences.
【Spiral Chute Working Principle】: The spiral chute is mounted and secured in position. A slurry pump delivers the ore to the feed inlet, where water is added to adjust the slurry concentration. The slurry flows naturally in a rotating motion down the inclined surface, generating inertial centrifugal force. Under the combined influence of gravity and centrifugal force, minerals are separated from the gangue based on differences in specific gravity, particle size, and shape. Concentrates flow into the concentrate hopper and are transported via pipeline. Tailings flow into the tailings bucket, connect to the tailings pond via pipeline, and are discharged by a pump, completing the beneficiation process.
